P90X3 Results for Women

Banner for X3 P90X3 test group results are finally in. I am SUPER stoked to see the amazing results that this group had. Most of you are probably familiar with all of the hype that P90X has generated over the last few years. Personally, I had a hard time with the duration of the workouts in X. When P90X2 came out, I wasn't a fan of so much core work and again, the duration of the workouts. So, the selling point for me with X3 is that it's a well rounded workout that can be completed in 30 minutes!!!!

  Questions you might be asking... Do I have to be a graduate of P90X or P90X2 to complete this program? The answer is NO!  It’s the workout that took notes from it’s siblings, then condensed, and accelerated to become the most dynamic and fastest workout yet. EVERYONE can find 30 minutes a day! The thing that I appreciate most about working out at home is that you can get up and GET TO WORK! No drive time! I used to spend at least 45 minutes a day driving to the gym and back home first in the morning for cardio and then for strength training. I absolutely LOVE being able to have more time with my family now that I work out at home.

The answer to this question varies. MAYBE! If you are a seasoned athlete or have followed instructions from a trainer or read a lot of magazines, you may know exactly what to do when you hit the gym.  Don't get me wrong, I still LOVE a great workout at the gym and still like to change things up here and there. But…if you are anything like I was 6 years ago, staying home, going for a walk around the block, and watching my eating would have given me better results than going to the gym and getting on the elliptical for 30 minutes. If there's anything that I want to drive home it's CARDIO DOES NOT CHANGE YOUR BODY! In order to see true changes, you need to incorporate strength training into your routine along with a tuned in nutritional plan. How to Boost your Metabolism and LOSE WEIGHT

When people decide that it is time to take control of their health and fitness, they usually turn to exercise. Are you one of the girls that decides to start exercising again and heads to the gym to do 30 minutes to an hour on the treadmill or elliptical with no results? That used to be me! I really did not GET the fact that exercise was only a small piece of the puzzle. The missing piece is that you CANNOT out exercise a bad diet. Now here is another problem. Many people decide they are ready for a change and then try something drastic like not eating at all or following an extremely low calorie diet that is not safe or sustainable.

I need to get something clear before we move on. Going all day without eating and then having a huge dinner is possibly the WORST thing that you can do if you are wanting to get healthy and fit! I would say that 80% of the women that come to me with 50-100 pounds to lose, only eat a few meals a day! They can't understand why they continue to gain weight when they are trying to lose and don't eat very often. These types of eating habits cause your metabolism to slow down which in turn makes it even harder for you to lose weight! When you do eat, especially if you're eating processed, unhealthy food, your body will hold on to what you consume not knowing when it will receive it's next fuel. Even if you are consuming healthy foods when you are eating, your weight lost consists of primarily water and muscle when you are at a severe calorie deficit. Muscle is good and is what burns fat!

Here are some small tips to start with. I'm sure you've heard them before, but I will say it again!

 1.)     Eat 5-6 small meals per day and drink WATER!

 2.)    Never go more than 3 hours without eating

 3.)    Keep meals CLEAN (unprocessed foods like fruits, veggies, lean proteins, and healthy carbs)

 4.)    Incorporate a balance of strength training and cardio training into your weekly routine.

 5.)    Don't be afraid to lift weights!!!! It is EXTREMELY difficult for women to BULK like the hulk. The more muscle that you build, the more fat you will burn!

January Internship

 I am an Independent Team Beachbody coach! This opportunity has truly changed my life. I was able to make the transition from a full-time job that was not bringing out the best in me, to a full-time stay at home mom/fitness coach. Words cannot express what this change has done for my personal happiness and the happiness of my family. I no longer come home from work crying out of frustration that comes with managing an organization and I no longer have to feel unappreciated in the work place. I am NOW surrounded by the most uplifting, positive group of leaders that support me 100% in all of my endeavors. I am NOW able to earn a great income by living a healthy and fit lifestyle and empowering others to do the same.

JANUARY INTERNSHIP I will be hand-selecting and personally mentoring 5 individuals in a small group setting, one-on-one, and through the Internet. During the first three months, I will teach you everything that I know about this business. However, it will be UP TO YOU to take the initiative to WORK, apply the knowledge, and build your business. I am looking for motivated individuals that have a love for health and fitness, have a true desire to help and support others, and will dedicate at least 10 hours a week to this internship. Beachbody Programs

The key to your success as you start and progress through your fitness journey will be finding your SOULMATE workout. Chalene Johnson, one of Beachbody's amazing trainers, describes in her PUSH book how to identify your soul mate workout. Here are my personal favs when it comes to Beachbody Home Workout programs.



 

 
Les Mills Pump

Have you ever heard of the Body Pump class that offered in gyms across the country? Well guess what? You can do Les Mills Pump right in the comfort of your own home!! I just started this workout program and I absolutely LOVE it! It came with everything that I need to get a kick butt workout right in front of the TV. The program came in a huge box that I could barely lift off of my doorstep and carry downstairs. The box included a barbell with 4 weights. Two 5 lb. weights and two 10 lb. weights. It also included the packet of DVD's, a program guide, and a nutrition guide. I started pump right away. My first impression with the first workout, Pump Challenge, was not great. I was expecting it to be a little more difficult. It was only about 20 minutes long. However, the next week Pump Challenge turned into a longer workout called Pump and Burn. I decided to push myself a little more and add a bit more weight. WOW!! Let me tell you, my legs and booty have never been so sore! I think I did a gazillion squats. However, the program has such awesome music and eye-appeasing trainers that the time went by super fast. I love the fact that my heart rate gets up while I can feel my muscles working at the same time. I am on week 3. My legs, but, back, and arms have all been pretty sore. You can make this a beginner workout by just lifting the bar or adding more weights. LOVE IT!! Definitely my new fav!!
 
 
TurboFire

I competed in an NPC Bikini competition last year. I worked out super hard and tried to follow a strict meal plan in the months leading up to the show. Immediately after the show, I totally fell off track. I started eating extremely unhealthy foods, didn't want to workout, and ultimately gained about 15 lbs. and undid all of my hard work. I was in a real SLUMP! After Christmas, I was desperate to do something! I started TurboFire in hopes that something new would help me. After trying TurboFire for the first time, I was hooked.
